  • Hello, I'm back

I haven't been on the site for a while, for several reasons.

-First draft of the novel was done. Wasn't satisfied at all with it. Will salvage some of it and re start a whole different process, including a lot of spying before it turns to JtR.

    - My sister died on New Year's Eve. We had to let her go two days later. Strangely, looking at someone drawing her last breath on a hospital bed isn't as horrible as I thought. Again, the anticipation is worse. The real sad thing is, she died exactly like she was scared would happen.

    - I moved to a new flat. A superb one, downtown Montreal. Really happy with it.

So now, I'm ready to start writing again, putting my main character in the shoes of an ex Jenkinson/Gosselin agent, right in the middle of the madness of 1888.

Sorry to hear about your sister. I'm glad you're doing well and motivated. Welcome back, Sir John.
    Best Wishes,

Very sorry to hear about your sister.

Glad to hear you have found a nice place in Montreal. Just out of curiosity, do you think Montreal is a dog friendly city? We are considering visiting for a rather long time and we have two dogs.

I'm pretty sure I can speak for everyone on here and say how sorry we are to hear about your sister.

My deepest regrets about the death of your sister. I hope all else this year and for a considerable time will be far happier for you and your family.

It is. Most parks have designated zones for letting the dog run. Otherwise, it needs to be on a leash at all time. You will need poop bags as well, otherwise you might get fined or yelled at.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.

My sister had a stroke during her sleep, we found her too late. She did have a long and interesting life, she traveled around the world and had a great sense of curiosity. Unfortunately, her health declined in the past year and she started losing interest in living. She was 78.

                  Thank you again.
