This programme was utter shyte.
Although the blurb mentioned 80 or so bodies found in the canals, the ex copper who made the programme only looked at 3 cases, and all he did in the way of investigating was timing the final route of the victims caught on CCTV.
I really felt for the families of the 3 victims.
He opened it all up again for them and had no further info to give them in the end.
There was just no point to it at all, except self promotion for the investigator, and I made a mental note to stay away from canals or water at night if drunk.Last edited by Jon Guy; 01-20-2016, 05:16 AM.

The program didn't answer wether Manchester has a serial killer or not. I was left with more questions than answers. The investigator was a joke.

There was a documentary on TV in the early hours of the other morning. It made very interesting viewing, it appears that they call `him` the Pusher. There's some conjecture about whether `he's` real or not. His MO appears to be pushing people into a canal and then watching them drown? GMP concluded that if `he` did exist there would be people coming, whereby `he'd` pushed them in but they swam to the other side and got out, thus not drowning, as this hasn't yet been the case they remain unconvinced. Interestingly Birmingham has a bigger head of population and more canals and yet no or certainly fewer unexplained drownings, it seems, or is that just WMP cuffing their HO crime stats?
