Oh I know, that is what I meant, that it is sick the amount of money athletes make here in the States....a friend of mine signed a 10 day contact with an NBA team a few years back... never even sat on the bench was just on call, and made more money in that 10 days then he had in 3 years of full time work....oh I wish I practiced more growing up hahahah

I used to tell my kids "Stop all that studying and practice your tennis, golf, football and guitar, how do you expect to keep your dad in the manner he'd like to become accustomed to". But no they both had to study.

But mate that's probably the biggest salary cap in any football here, we are a small country population wise so there aren't as many people contributing, there are a few players here in all codes every year that try to break into the NFL and there are always a couple of Aussies in the NBL and indeed a pitcher in MLB from my old home town.

ohh boy..... wait a second... "New CEO Greg Swann".. really??? You can't have a Swann be CEO for the LIONS!!!!!!

how sad is that fact that the 9 million per year spent on footy is less than the average basketball players salary per season in the NBA.... and more than half of the baseball players in MLB make far more than that a year....sick eh?

I can actually leave my house again....what a week...seriously I have lived in Buffalo my whole life and we are known for snow... but I have never EVER seen anything like that......was really scary for a bit.....not as scary as this tunnel....sorry ladies... been a bit cold and buried in snow to pay a visit.. but things are looking better now... anything you need me to get... more nylons, a couple bottles?
