Say what you will about these people but you do have to admire their persistence and tenacity. They do not get discouraged easily.

What I find so amazing is that they pick completely arbitrary facts and events on which to base their predictions. How do they know that those are the events (and not others) that they should be focusing on?

I have been watching a number of rapture videos on line. It seems like everybody and their brother has had a dream or seen a sign. If you don't know it there is an entire internet community fixated on this. What is interesting is that so many of these people are tired of their life and want desperately to be in heaven. I think that is very telling.

I also find it amusing that although the Bible says that no one knows the day or the hour of the second coming they manage to get around that by saying well that's not what that really means.

Then there is the explanation that they say the Government and non-believers will use to explain why so many people are no longer around -- Aliens! As though people will just say oh Aliens well that explains it and just go about their day.
