Supposed to be 101 degrees today here in Washington, D.C. and continuing on for a while. Pretty damned unpleasant and potentially dangerous.

Where I live in Indiana, it got up to 92 degrees, with a dew point of 73 degrees. The latter is the worst part.Comment

Had to go to the bank today so forced to venture out into the heat (99 degrees/108 heat index). Saw some idiot jogging. How in the world could anybody think this was a really good idea? Was going to say something to them but then thought hey it is not my business. Get them out of the gene pool as quickly as possible before they can reproduce.
Also had the misfortune of passing by a homeless person. Filthy and covered in rags. He gave off a stench like you would not believe. To make matters worse, he had apparently come across a bottle of cheap cologne which he had sprayed all over himself. The combination of the two created some sort of mutant stench straight from the depths of hell.
Gonna just stay inside the rest of the day.

We went up to 101F today in NY and the subway was brutal.
The heat really intensifies the mosaic of smells you experience down there!
