I'm not entirely sure how the lemon juice represents "tension" here, but I'd happily give it a go regardless!

The lemon’s the tension because without it, it’d just be sweetness fae wall to wall, and where's the fun in that? A wee bit bite keeps things interesting. Like a look across the table that says 'aye, I ken what ye did.'

Your squash dish, by the way.. that’s no a recipe, that’s full blown seduction. Walnuts toasted in honey? That’s the kind of thing folk whisper about in church halls.

If we ever end up in the same kitchen, I’ll bring the fog. You bring the gallus.
