  • The stretcher

I'm not interested in football, or rather, football has long since disgusted me.
However, I've watched some games of the world cup, for I've been operated last week and have to stay home for a while.
I had always thought that the only thing you needed to play football was....a ball.
But the Fifa set me right !
Indeed, the first thing needed is a good stretcher - if not several.
    Then, a ball.

Ah, so you now appreciate the need for a stretcher?

I hope all is well Dave, seriously.

I think there should be two stretchers. The one they currently have for seriously hurt players, and the second for anyone who doesn't immediately get up after going down, which would look like a hannibal lechter type situation but with a cone of shame. I bet diving would immediately drop in frequency.
The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

Hi Jon, I'm fine, many thanks.
It was nothing, but most boring and it will take some weeks...

Hi Errata, you should rule the Fifa.

On the contrary David, whoever heads up FIFA ought to automatically head up the EEC too...the lies and bullshit are of a far higher calibre than we're used to...

          All the best

I could do both... I mean it is statistically unlikely I could do a worse job than the current cast of characters.

              Sorry you are wrong.

It is impossible anyone could do a worse job.

There are two ways to be fooled, one is to believe what isn't true, the other is to refuse to believe that which is true.

                  Hi Dave,

You seem well informed. Tell me, they believe in Crossmere ?

                  Cheers

Rather than Suarez getting a 4 month ban from football they could have taught him a lesson by having him wheeled out in a straight jacket and muzzle to the pitch for every game. That would perhaps get him thinking about his crime.
