  • RIP David Anderson

Steve has just announced over on JtRForums the sad death of David Anderson who wrote the excellent (imo) Blood Harvest: My Hunt For Jack The Ripper. His suspect was Druitt.

    28-08-1944 - 21-10-2024
    Regards

    Sir Herlock Sholmes.

Sad, David Anderson was an infrequent visitor on Casebook many years ago.
Blood Harvest, as you say was excellent.
    Regards, Jon S.

I recall seeing a photograph posted with Paul Begg, Tom Cullen, Simon Wood and David Anderson. I can’t recall where it was posted though. I think that Simon originally posted it.

Never believe anything until it has been officially denied.

          Thanks Simon.

I’m checking left to right - Don Rumbelow, Robin Odell, unknown, yourself in the white shirt, Martin Fido, Tom Cullen, 2 unknowns, the David Anderson.

I don’t know if you or anyone else knows the 3 ‘unknowns?’
          Regards

          Sir Herlock Sholmes.

                Cheers Roger,

That angle reveals Paul Begg and I wasn’t sure that was Keith Skinner. I don’t know who is sitting to the left of Simon though?

First, I'm sorry for the loss to those who knew him and the community at large.

The White Hart looks classier back then, although maybe it was spruced up for the 100th anniversary, and I think the Thai place it partners with these days serves decent food at a reasonable price.
