With regard to the economy, covid, infrastructure, the wall and the health system that he said would replace Obamacare and be the best health scheme in the history of the world, he talked the talk but fell on his face when he had to walk the walk.

I see him as a braggard, constantly speaking in superlatives - everything is the best or worst in the history of the world. His general knowledge is sub-ignoramus and he is incredibly stupid. He is old and in mental decline, and his potential replacement is Vance.

IMHO, he's toast. But that is just my opinion which won't contribute even one vote in the US election.

    Cheers, George
I see it differently George, and believe me I could counter argue all those points you mentioned in a more favorable way , but as we've seen in the past and even now on other threads that pointing out facts and figures is futile . We live in a world where information is tossed aside and ignored when we don't agree with it . After a break from the boards I've learned its best to give my opinion and wait to see if its right or wrong rather than get into a never ending debate I think Trumps a shoe in , more so now after the Democrats v.p pick . Just my opinion . .Time will tell if I'm right. Cheers

      Hi Fishy,

We've been on the same and opposite sides of many opinions, but have managed to sustain an amicable relationship. I hope that can continue. If we were conducting a pub test, I would pick up on your comment about the Democrats VP pick. I think that Trump is regretting taking the advice of his idiot sons and selecting Vance as VP running mate. I am gobsmacked that Vance should choose to sink to the level revealed in the following linked video. Vance has admitted that his military service in Iraq amounted to escorting celebrities. He admitted he had never seen a single day in combat. Yet he had the temerity to attack a man with 24 years of military service who retired from the military in his early forties months before his unit was posted to Iraq. Look up the age limits for military service. Vance seems to have overlooked the record of his "fearless?" leader, Private Bonespurs. I'll take Walz any day over Vance as I considered the latter to be below contempt, and an all purpose idiot.

CNN's Laura Coates fact-checks Sen. JD Vance's (R-OH) claims about the military service of his vice presidential opponent, Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN). #CNN #news W...

Time will tell who is correct in predicting the result of this contest, but IMO the winner will not be the party that resorts to claims of "electoral fraud", "alternate" electors or preventing the certification of the election.

      Cheers, George
