I’ve only seen 10 of the 20 but that’s pretty high for me. I’ve heard lots of people mention Zoolander for example but I’ve never seen it. I’m going to have to watch it on the grounds that there must be reasons that so many people like it. I was thinking of watching Wings Of Desire a couple of weeks ago but ended up watching something else. I know what you mean about mood though. It’s strange but I have to be in the mood just to watch a film in the first place.
It's great on a rainy evening with a bottle of wine and some nibbles though!
Zoolander is silly and funny and never fails to make me laugh.
Wings of Desire involves Peter Falk, Nick Cave and Berlin. Three of my favourite things!

Yeah, this is trickier Herlock as it depends on what mood I'm in.
I concur with three of your choices as follows:
Jaws
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
The Life of Brian
and add.....
Stagecoach
Christiane F
Harold and Maude
Wings of Desire
Zoolander
Bowfinger
Whatever Happened to Baby Jane
The Man Who Fell To Earth
All About Eve
Kickass
Kind Hearts And Coronets
Sunday In New York
Alien
Terminator
I love a good Christmas film too, so I've got to include:
Muppet's Christmas Carol
It's a Wonderful Life
Elf
The lineup would probably look different if I did this again tomorrow though!

Again, in no particular order:
The Private Life Of Sherlock Holmes
Blade Runner
Twelve Angry Men
The Life Of Brian
Raiders Of The Lost Ark
True Grit (the original)
North By Northwest
A Shot In The Dark
Rear Window
Dracula (the original)
The Silence Of The Lambs
Citizen Cain
The Good, The Bad And The Ugly
The Thing (the original)
The Lord Of The Rings (I’ll go for The Fellowship Of The Ring)
2001: A Space Odyssey
Planes, Trains And Automobiles
Nosteratu
Sunset Boulevard
Jaws
