That's what the Judical proces is LITERALLY there for. You don't let voters decide if someone is guilty o something or not, this is what jurys are there for.

I suspect that Ramaswamy is doing this just to please Trump, and that he really is running to be Trump's running mate rather than in a real effort to win the nomination.

Maine has joined Colorado in deciding Trump cannot appear on their state ballot for the Presidential election. Several other states are also considering a similar barring.

That surprised me. Supreme Court agreed to hear the case about whether Trump's name can be on the Presidential ballot or is banned by the 14th Amendment's insurrectionist clause.

doesn't surprise me. In reality, you can not have a situation where he would appear on the ballot in some states and not in others. As this is a federal election, there needs to be a uniform presidential ballot across the country. Even though states have the rights to administer elections, they will need to follow some rules for federal elections.

Trump is dinged for 88 million in damages for his defemation of and in addition to the 5 million for the sexual assault verdict by Jean E. Carrol. Following the defamation verdict, Rudi Gulliani, fresh from his own 148 million defamation verdict, called Jean E. Caroll a lair. On Fox, a Network fresh from thier own 750 million defamation verdict by Dominion. Meanwhile, Smartmatic believe they have shown criminal actiivty (distribution of user passwords) between OAN and Sidney Powell and are going full steam ahead with, you guessed it, defamation lawsuits.

Trump meanwhile continues to quote Heinrich Himmler and is telling the Speaker of the House not to enact any policies so that he can run on the current administration having a lack of policies. Tim Scott meanwhile debased himself in the most cringeworthy way possible by declaring his "love" of Donald Trump in public while Vivek R. is grinning/looking on. Just how he managed to control himself and NOT kneel in front of Trump and unzip his trousers there and then is beyond me.

All while Trump is apparently fuming that Nikki Hayley, a woman no less, A WOMAN, refuses to get out of his way and kiss his ring. Speaking of women, republican heads have been exploding left and right accusing Taylor Swift and having a relationship with a footballer. Apparently this is some kind of psy-ops and according to Vivek R., Swift is now conspiring with the Biden crime family to rig the Superbowl.

Oh yes, and in march, Trumps' criminal cases will start. Should be fun. And american politics will turn into a circus on steroids and mushrooms at the same time. Brace for impact, everyone.

Plus, the Congressional Sergeant at Arms notified in writing to the House of Represantives that he received a Department of Justice subpoena asking for documents, and is complying with it.

Speculation is that the request might be connected to the Jan 6 insurrection, because the office of Sgt at Arms would keep visitor logs and requests for tours by Representatives. (This speculation is more sensible than others I've seen, but please note the reason for the subpoena or type of documents hasn't been stated yet.)

Re the Republicans disliking Ms. Swift, they have counted for years on the apathy of youth voters to help them elect their bigoted people. Now this white woman tells her "Swifties" of voting age to register and vote! They know darn well young people skew more liberal and less (dare we say) authoritian, so that's a potential wrench (spanner) in the works!
