    Rorke's Drift

Since no one else has mentioned it, Wednesday, the 22d of January, was the anniversary of the battle of Rorke's Drift.

      "Hitch....Hitch....Hitch I know you're alive, I've seen you"

      "Yes Colour Sergeant"

      "Yes SIR...officer on parade"

The stuff of legends...shame the film was so inaccurate, but inspirational anyhow

      Cheers

You could have added also that the day before was the anniversary of the battle / massacre at Isandhlwana (the subject of the film "Zulu Dawn"). On the other hand, you may not want to remember that as much as Rorke's Drift.

June 25th is the anniversary of the Little Big Horn.

So we can expect hordes of Welshmen singing in close harmony?
