Richard Burton, in an interview on "Parkinson," was shown a clip from the murder scene and criticised himself for putting emphasis on "divine" in "divine service."
I never saw this movie before and looked for that! His emphasis was not as noticeable as I thought it would be and I tried to imagine what it would be had he placed the emphasis on 'service'.
According to the plot the emphasis on divine would be correct, as he was transformed after becoming the Archbishop of Canterbury and made Henry II jealous due to his allegiance to God and not Henry.
So I wonder why he felt his emphasis was wrong? It seems correct to the character?
