              Having read the original Tampa Bay Times article I'm none the wiser. Shakespeare doesn't appear to be banned according to the original article at least. Still, it's nice clickbait for msn.

                Hillsborough County, schools can use a redacted version of Romeo and Juliet, not the full text. Like the rest of the book censoring in Florida, it varies by county.

                  From the original article: 'School district officials said they redesigned their instructional guides for teachers because of revised state teaching standards AND a new set of state exams that cover a vast array of books and writing styles.'

                  As I said, from the original article it all as clear as mud, I assume intentionally so.
