Interesting state election results from TN

In a Tennessee statehouse special general election, one of the "two Justins" (2 Black Democratic legislators ruled as "disruptive" for protesting-- with a White woman colleague-- on the floor about racist bills) won to retain his seat by 77% against a GOP White woman challenger. That's with 94 percent of polls reported, so little chance of an upset.

In Tennessee! Where extremely conserative laws have passed!

Encouragement that when the people make their will known and vote, results can be good!

Also noted: A FBI agent involved in the Jack Smith investigation offered chilling observations that the Jan. 6th insurrection was very close to ending our Democracy and free elections. Trump did indeed want to wrest the election certification away from Biden and end our system of government.

A bit misleading to lump in the whole of Tennessee in your post. It's Nashville. Nashville is far more liberal than rural Tennessee. In fact just about every major Metro area in the USA is Dem heavy. Also, it's no shock that a politician viewed as a martyr will remain popular with their base.
