Hello C.F.,
I don't know where you live but I am in the U.S. and I got hit with that FBI thing too. malwarebytes.org got rid of it for me. My understanding is that it is generally considered one of the best if not the best spy removal programs and it is a free download. If you haven't tried it already you might want to check it out.

I was hit about 18 months ago by an earlier version which simply locked my computer so that the ransom page was all that could be displayed, even after start up would go straight to ransom page and lock the computer. Removed it by starting in safe mode where I was able to run a scan with both Malwarebytes and Norton AV which found and removed it. This seems to be a new variant which encrypts personal files and starts deleting them if a ransom is not paid within a certain time.
I follow one simple rule - don't open email attachments which I'm not expecting or from someone I don't know.
