No doubt he'll make a fortune on the after-dinner speaker circuit when he has destroyed his reputation beyond repair, so he's probably not worried if his views kill the impressionable in the meantime.
It's like the MMR fiasco all over again.

Watching Dr. Campbell's journey has been a fascinating one, from a vaccine enthusiast to sceptic, the loss of faith in Governments and supra-national bodies. His advocacy of Vitamin D3 and K2 and aspiration I'm sure will prove seminal in years to come.
He was subject to many ad hominem attacks, unsurprising when you are going up against the narrative of the day and against an industry making billions. In one of his responses he talked about seeing the life go out of someone while holding their hand in a refugee camp I don't think I've ever been so effected by a content provider as I was then and as a result I ran the local half marathon in aid of John's friend Andrew Wefwafwa's work in Africa, mosquito nets for pennies, inexpensive drugs curing blindness, combating sickle cell just really humbling stuff and can change one's perspective on life.
I wish everyone well in the months and years ahead with the health choices they have made while morning the friends, neighbours and family I have lost who trusted the wrong people.
