  • New exhibition at London’s Museum of Freemasonry - 60 Great Queen Street

Just learnt of this although the exhibition has been running since January of this year:

The exhibition is free, and is running until 23 December 2023. To find out more about it, including opening times, visit: www.museumfreemasonry.org.uk/whats ...

    Quote:
To accompany the exhibition, a website (www.1723constitutions.com) has been created, offering insights into the principles of Freemasonry, the people involved, and the impact of the Constitutions across the globe.

The exhibition is free, and is running until 23 December 2023. To find out more about it, including opening times, visit: www.museumfreemasonry.org.uk/whats-on/inventing-future.

Our latest exhibition, ‘Inventing the Future’, celebrates the Tercentenary of the Constitutions of the Freemasons. This book, now almost forgotten by non-freemasons, had a remarkable and unexpected impact. 'Inventing the Future' has two parts. In the library you can see how the Constitutions of 1723 spread from London across the world through rare examples published as it arrived in different countries. In the South Gallery the story continues as you find out the context, content and consequences of this remarkable book.

I would say this is a "must" visit for anyone who has the chance to go. I visited on an opening day a few years back and
found the visit really interesting. The building itself was impressive and I'm tempted to revisit soon.

P.S. The Freemasons did not cover up the WMs or otherwise have anything to do with the case. A certain leading author said so and that's good enough for me.

In case someone, like me, is interested in a possible freemasonry angle to the case:
