Looks like there MIGHT be a problem with the notes Swanson made in his book which named Kosminski and an attempt to identify him by a witness at the seaside home.If these notes are not genuine it's hardly the end of the world is it.

But on the other hand it would be a good idea to have a thorough look at the evidence before concluding that there's any real reason to suspect the notes aren't genuine. I'd recommend Adam Wood's extremely thorough article on the marginalia in Ripperologist 128.Comment
