Walshe murder: Man killed wife after searching internet for how to dispose of bodies

    https://www.cnn.com/2023/01/17/us/br...ing/index.html

A Massachusetts woman was reported missing recently. Investigators have arrested her husband for murder.
They found bloodied knives at the house.

There is a credit card transaction record for purchases of tarps, a hacksaw, and many cleaning products.

The man was observed leaving plastic bags that seemed heavy at various dumpsters. Searches of the dumpsters recovered portions of the victim's body, but apparently some of the bags were already incinerated.

His son's iPad shows a history of searches that the father did for topics about:
    disposing of bodies,
"can someone be tried for murder if there's no body?"

I was trying to think of any other ways that he could have signalled his own guilt Pat. Having an “I wish that my wife was dead” t-shirt printed perhaps?

He’s that stupid I’m actually surprised he was able to use an iPad.

did he use his son's iPad so the cops would come after his son instead?

I’ve been racking my brain for the last hour to try and recall a crime where the killer tried to blame his son for a murder or murders but I just can’t think of it. I’ve now got to try and stop thinking about it all day.

Matthew Moseley is the only one that's easy to find in the UK. Others no doubt exist elsewhere.

It wasn’t that one PM. I’d stopped thinking about it until I saw your post though. Maybe it will come to me? I don’t think it’s something that I read because something is telling me that I saw it on a TV documentary but whether it was a well know case or not I don’t know.

Got it!!! I became sure that I’d seen a documentary and that the subject was a black guy which helped narrow it down.

It was The Night Stalker - Delroy Grant. I remember watching Manhunt.

Glad you got that stone out of your shoe, Herlock!

I remember once in pre-internet days lying in bed awake until around 3.30 because I couldn’t remember the name of the actor that replaced Johnny Weissmuller as Tarzan. Stupidly unimportant but once it’s in your brain it can drive you mad.

                      Yeah, I hear you!

I've had many a sleepless night over all manner of utterly banal trivia.

They're both a blessing and a curse, but in relation to instant information, thank goodness for smartphones!
