Nantucket, Massachusetts, has been granted approval for a bylaw to allow for topless beaches in what the town says is an effort to promote gender equality.

        Yeah, I'm all for this.

On the rare days when the sun actually shines here I have often mused on the unfairness of girls feeling obliged to keep it all under wraps, whilst the males of the species happily parade around shirtless.

"Suns oot, taps aff!" as they say here!!

There were two ways it could have gone to achieve equality, women go topless or men wear a top.Which was more fair.
Clearly the first human laws (way older and already established) spawned organized religion's morality - from which it's writers only copied/stole,ex. you cannot kill, rob, steal (forced,it started civil society).

Huh! I wonder what the old Boston bluenoses would have thought of such reckless dismantling of their banning "topless" women!
