Police name the man accused of stabbing Rushdie in the neck as Hadi Matar, 24, from New Jersey.

British author Salman Rushdie was attacked on stage at an event in New York. He was stabbed in the neck and abdomen. The attacker has been identified as Hadi Matar, a 24-year-old from New Jersey.
