I came across these youtube videos during my regular Youtube surfing sesions (usually with a double G&T ). Gibson have basically started interviewing some of thier most famous "users" and put them out in lenghty clips of an hour or even 90 minutes. What is really interesting here is that they have edited out the interviewer so that the answers basically become one long monologue. Yes, the word "monologue" already sounds boring, but I think it really works. I have watched the interview with Kirk Hammett twice actually as his passion for guitar-playing really comes through in the clip. Jerry Cantrell provides some really interesting insights into the Seattle scene around '87-'94 and Tony Iommi, well, they literally put him on a throne for the entire interview!
There are no interviews with Jimmy Page, Billy Gibson or Elvis. Yet. Although I'm not holding my breath on the latter....
Cheers.
