The Windows 10 search feature is slow and cumbersome. Many's the happy hour I've spent twiddling my thumbs while it sorts through the contents of my various hard drives.

    But no more.

I recently installed a FREE utility called EVERYWHERE which returns a search request in seconds.

    Full details are here—https://download.cnet.com/Everything...-10890746.html

    You won't regret it.

This sounds similar to "Agent Ransack" at https://www.mythicsoft.com/agentransack/ which I have used for years. Also highly recommended.

Bloody Hell, Simon, I downloaded it within this very minute (including a Norton check), and it immediately ran. I typed in 'Jack' thinking - on my computer - that'll challenge it, and it instantly produced hundreds of files with 'Jack' in them. It couldn't possibly have had time to create an index and I literally have tens of thousands of files on the PC.

        Impressive stuff, young man.

Don't cod us, Dear Boss. We know all too well that first term you punched-in was "brass paper knives, non-blunt"

            Hi Ike,

In a few days you'll be wondering how you ever lived without it.

            Take care.

I thought of searching on 'GSG' but figured I'd need a bigger processor.

Chance would be a fine thing.
