Judging from that photo I think he'd have failed the height requirements for Hitler's mob.

Well, I would not deny this man the right to 'be a good father' but I do feel he needs quite a lot of strong guidance and perhaps some history lessons.

Also, he should consider changing the names of his children as he will seriously disadvantage them by keeping those names.

Oh blow it. I am being far too kind. The man is an idiot and his children will probably be much better off not seeing him until they can make their own decisions and formulate their own world-view without his influence.

And hopefully old enough to legally change those horrible names...
And the questions always linger, no real answer in sight

Apart from the armband, what kind of uniform is that? It doesn't look like SS or SA. Is it a Wehrmacht uniform?

Whatever it is, it needs some serious tailoring.

This guy's been in the news before-- and he's just on a bottom step, but no, he's not particularly tall. He and his wife were living on disability, because he has to quit his job pumping gas when he developed emphysema (it's probably the genetic form but still), and yet, he was still smoking. He didn't have a high school diploma, which is why he apparently was unqualified to do anything else. I'm guessing he doesn't read so well. His wife is mentally retarded, albeit, mildly. Children are not automatically removed from homes where parents are mentally retarded, but if the parents require services, or are in supported living, then social services keeps a close eye.

The children, if I remember correctly, were removed from the home because he had unsecured firearms. He came to their attention when he made a stink about a store not making a birthday cake for his son that said "Happy Birthday Adolf Hitler," because apparently they did actually call the kid "Adolf Hitler" all the time, not just "Adolf," or "Dolfie," or something. Since people actually have purchased (or made) cakes like that, and left them in front of synagogues, as either a threat or just a practical joke, it makes sense the store would refuse.

Anyway, in one of several TV interviews the father gave as a result, he talked about the number of guns he had, and IIRC, that prompted the visit from child services.
