      Dogs rock!!!!

(and cats too obviously, although a cat would likely sit watching, quietly licking it's own anus while the boy drowns!!)

          Way!

Like barnflatwyngarde says this is bonkers. So much so I didn't really believe my eyes at first and thought some video trickery was being used.

Cats are obviously very cool too. And that one is braver than me!

That dog is smarter than the boy.

Not too smart, though. You should never interfere with nature, or you'll risk weak individuals proliferating.

That video ought to be narrated by Sir David.
                    With the same script.

                        Hahaha!

I'm not sure that he would get all the brilliantly camp "eeeeeewwwwww!"'s quite right (but I'd pay good money to see him try, right enough!)

This is a well-known video. It's clearly a set-up. The little girl throws the ball intentionally over the boy's head into the pool (watch it again, it's obvious) and then - when she runs over to the pool and could simply lean over and pick it out again - she runs off to get her mum whose irrelevantly-longer arms would do the job instead.

                          It's YouTube clickbait, I'm afraid.

Having said all of that, it was very clever of someone to train the dog to do that, but let's not kid ourselves it did it all spontaneously. Unless, of course, the kid falls in every day and the dog therefore had a huge amount of practice.

I had my doubts at first but then persuaded myself it was probably genuine. Oh well...
