I uploaded it by accident when it was new, and went ahead and tried it. At the time, I had the bare minimum processor speed and RAM for it, so it actually was slower, and it was too helpful. I was always having to shut off features to get on with what I was doing. It reminded me of AOL in 1997, that way. This was a long time ago, though.
I've been using Firefox on my desktop for several years, and I love it. My android tablet uses a Google app, which works, but it's an app. I wouldn't say I like it. It's way better than the Yahoo app on my phone, which I hate.
If you download it and don't like it, you can always remove it. If you're worried, for some reason, create a partition.
Re downloading things by accident, there's too much of this nonsense where you're trying to do something, and instead of clicking something to opt into something, you're supposed to click if you want to opt OUT. This is sheer unadulterated cheek.
