    Lost Hiker Ignored Rescuers' Phone Calls Thinking They Were Spam

    A search and rescue unit in Colorado says a hiker spent the night in the forest after they "ignored repeated phone calls from us because they didn't recognize the number."

    To be fair this is a tough one. Sure you could get rescued but on the other hand you could end up buying an extended warranty for your toaster.

      Sure, but if you're lost, wouldn't you want the comfort of knowing your toaster is covered and would continue to provide you with sustenance while awaiting rescue? People really need to start planning ahead.
