  • Need help from you nice casebook folks!

I'm looking for a freeware program for creative writing. to replace Microsoft binder.

I want to be able to organize notes, pictures, pdf files, news clippings etc. etc in to a binder (to use the Microsoft analogy) that I can pull up and rearrange and annotate and edit and catalogue. I didn't download something that I was trying out on the old computer, but I lost it in the meltdown and can't remember what it was called.

I've been searching online, but mostly what I've been finding are jumped-up word processors, "Mind mapping" software, and journaling programs (which so far have been the closest to what I'm looking for, but lacking the flexibility)

Any suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks in advance!!

Is there a reason you no longer want to use binder?
The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

Unfortunately Microsoft discontinued it a few years ago and the newer versions of word, excel etc. are no longer compatible even if I could find a copy to install
