Fire Ins. Maps of Whitechapel - British Library.

Back in January I wrote to the British Library about the fact users of the Fire Insurance Maps were no longer able to use the Adobe viewer to enlarge their maps.
They did reply with an acknowledgement of that problem, but had no solution to offer.

Yesterday, as a measure towards solving that problem, they forwarded to me this link...

I tried it later that night, no joy.
The link doesn't appear to be for the Whitechapel maps.

There is a link on that page to the Goad maps, Jon;

From there you can scroll through the various towns to find the relevant London sheets. If they're ok quality I'll have a trawl through and pick out and post links for some relevant ones.

Just found links to the London ones so you won't need to scroll through quite so many pages.
