The Exorcist ThemeI will upload more horror movie themes soon

    Just in time for Halloween.

Watched it (again) just the other night. A classic horror film. Walked by the house and stairs last week. Good Lord, you can die just walking UP the steps.

    Enjoy.

I watched it again last night. Possibly the greatest horror movie ever made considering the rudimentary special effects available at the time. Much of the suspense relies on complete silence. Before exploding into total mayhem again. Rollercoaster ride!!!

      A photo of the stairs.

The site of the climactic scene from the classic horror film is now a historic landmark.

The theme was taken from Mike Oldfield's tour de force album Tubular Bells in which he plays practically every instrument. This is the album which kick started Richard Branson's fledgling Virgin Records label and was the beginning of his mega fortune.
Why a four-year-old child could understand this report! Run out and find me a four-year-old child, I can't make head or tail of it.

And yet, when I hear Mike Oldfield, I can only think of this:

It was from a comedy program that was really popular in Britain. Spawned lots of cultural references. I'm sure others get it though.

also, it's a memory song from a time when we escaped from classes and tried to smoke cigarettes behind the bike-shed
