Like you my first reaction was that this was a case of monumental stupidity but now I am not so sure. I think it would take a team of psychiatrists to figure out all that is going on. Arrogance? Hubris? Denial? Whistling past the graveyard?

No matter the motive it boggles the mind.

I can only shake my head, and remain baffled by the herd mentality of Trumpers.

But having watched their recent crowd behaviour, one observation I can make is that they all look related.

It could explain a lot.
