    At long long long last- a British Tennis player has won a Grand Slam title.
    Congratulations Andy Murray. What a summer you have had a what a summer for British sports fans.

              I should have made it clear, incase I get pulled up for it, that it is the first MALE Grand Slam title for a Brit in 76 years. (Fred Perry 1936)

                  What a great year for Andy Murray.. Olympic Gold, Wimbeldon finals, US open winner and he is now ranked # 3 in the world!!!!

                  When it went to the 5th set I was so sure Djokovic had it won...but Murray really showed the heart of a champion... great win, and I look foward to seeing him in the Australian Open next year.

                  Still a bit sad the Federer got knocked out right before we got to see him and Murray battle it out again...but I'm sure we havent seen the last of their meetings..
