Bury are expelled by the English Football League after a takeover bid from C&N Sporting Risk collapsed.

Very sad and I should imagine there's some really p*ssed of people in Bury and I don't blame them.

Apparently, Bury can reapply to join the EFL but will have to go further down the "pyramid".

    So fingers crossed for Bury.

Hope Bolton can be saved this fate.

I'd wonder that the supporters couldn't form a corporation and buy them.

Prior to this year, Bury held outright the record win in an FA Cup Final (1903 vs. Derby County). It just shouldn't be possible for teams like Bury to go under.

I first watched Bury in 1973 and on and off since having being born in the town. So many fans who I know who are keener football followers than myself are devastated by this. In truth the club has been mismanaged by its various owners for years. Basically people trying to make a few quid rather than have the interests of the club at heart. So sad

Bolton Wanderers' survival is secured as Football Ventures (Whites) Limited completes its protracted takeover of the club.

                Bolton are saved, it seems.
