Re: "The ‘Saxon plural of penny’ piece was released in 2005 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Samuel Johnson’s Dictionary of the English Language, released in 1755".
I recently found the above 50p in my change and kept hold of it. I've googled around to see what it's value might be, but I cannot get a firm idea of it's value.
Any thoughts on it's value anyone?
(This coin doubles my " coin collection" to two. The other coin I have is a florin of some sort with a version of King George on it. It's somewhat worn but I keep it out of sort of "sentimental", reasons. I've had it since I was teenager. It must have caught my attention because I associated the word florin with a coin of old).
