She had a good innings. I forgot she was still alive!

My late father loved her when he was growing up.

      RIP Doris Day.

She was a great singer. I still have an album of hers she made with Andre Previn.

        RIP Doris Day

i remember seeing Calamity Jane when I was a kid. It’s great that she lived in pretty decent health until the latter part of her life. A life well lived.

Stupid me! Of course, you're right.

Doris and Andre do a marvellous version of Grieg's Piano Concerto.

She was always a favourite. When I was little, I liked her TV show, and when I became a bit older, her movies as well. It was only in my teens when I became interested in the 1940s that I learned how long she'd actually been around in various capacities.
