Oh, this is terrible news. Andre Previn was one of the most gifted musicians of the 20th and 21st Century. He is going to be greatly missed across all musicals cultures. Thank goodness I have all of his records. RIP Andre Previn.

Agreed, Simon, a hugely talented artist. I haven't got all of Previn's records, but I had more than 40 at the last count, and they're all superb.
          Kind regards, Sam Flynn

Agreed, Robert. There is no finer rendition of this concerto than that by Eric Morecambe.

That is a shame. He'll be missed.

Obviously an exceptionally talented man and also someone that didn’t take himself too seriously unlike some of today’s so-called celebrities possessed of around a millionth of his talent.

And according to Eric Morecambe hi. Self, this wonderful, musically gifted man, had impeccable comic timing.
That, for me, is the icing on the cake, from a comic genius.

Indeed, Phil. If I remember right, he only had one rehearsal, and then had to do it. And he did it perfectly. According to AP, after that he was hailed by taxi drivers as 'Mr Preview' whenever he was in London.
