Hello !!! I'm back!

. . . not that I'm expecting to be remembered

I made a brief entrance on these boards about a year ago, but a full time job, some family stuff and trying to get a small business off the ground suddenly consumed every waking minute. My interest in JTR and this site is still there - in fact, I've been an occasional browser over the last year but I just haven't had the time to participate in any way. By my reasoning, the case has waited this long so it was all still going to be there when I finally got myself sorted out and ready to join in again!

As I think I said last time, I haven't come here with a new and groundbreaking theory and I haven't come here with the thought that I'll walk away having "solved" the case . . . my only hope is that I'll learn something new on these boards and be able to form some sort of opinion for myself (that I'm satisfied with, even if nobody else is) of what went on back then.

If along the way, I can throw a fresh pair of eyes over some things, contribute the occasional opinion or just enjoy a bit of banter with people with a similar interest then I'll be a happy bunny

In truth, perhaps I may be setting the bar a little high for myself.
To be honest, I've been fascinated with this case since childhood, so for now I'll just be satisfied with getting down to the real facts and sifting them from the lurid documentaries and fictionalisations that have grown up around this over the years.
