It's quite sad, really. The couple in question weren't doing anything wrong, they only were participating in church life. Why should they be punished?

That's probably because an entire government interfering in the lives of its people is a lot more interesting than one crazy cult and their crazy ass proclamations. Why is it interesting to me that these peoples cult leaders decided they are naughty? Here's a thought, if you don't want to be bound by the random dictates of your leaders, don't join cults. Then you won't have these problems. You have free will. Or are we all supposed to go "oh my god RACISM EXISTS!!!". Is that news to anyone?

Correct. If some church wishes not to allow interracial marriage then thats fine. If people arent happy with that Churches teachings then they can leave. I dont see any need for expensive legal action.Originally posted by Ally View Post
