  • RIP Champ

Ex Heaveyweight champion and boxing hall of famer Joe Frazier died last night after a battle with liver cancer, he was 67 years old.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Smokin Joe over the last 15 years or so and will always have great memories of not only the amazing fighter, with the best left hook I have ever seen.. but also the wonderful man he was..You will be missed champ.

Smokin Joe Frazier 01-12-1944 to 11-07-2011

1964 Olympic gold medal.....Heavyweight Champion of the world 02-16-1970 to 01-22-1973.

    RIP Champ!!

“I want to hurt him. If I knock him down, I'll stand back, give him a chance to breathe. It's his heart I want.”

The best left hook I ever did see. Unfortunately some of his opponents never did.

      Keep Smokin Joe.

Now that could have come from my hero Muhammed Ali.

I always liked Frazier, an obviously really nice guy.

        RIP Smokin' Joe

          I liked them both.
Hopefully there'll be a bunch of documentaries on TV.
          Best regards,

Always had a soft spot for Frazier. Growing up dirt poor and illiterate he deserved every accolade he got. A tough, tough man.
