    Ed Millibot

Bizarre stuff from the Leader of the opposition. Seems like he gained his interviewing techniques from an Episode of "Yes Minister".

Been in the job long enough now, but more performances like that and he surely can't be in the job much longer.

The Labour party seem to be stuck with someone who makes the greyness of John Major seem like a bloody rainbow!

Labour leader's questioner Damon Green scornful of Miliband's 'professional discourtesy' with public sector strike answers. By Mark Sweney

Beyond belief..... for the love of Pete where do they (parties of all colours, not just Labour) get these people from?

I thought it was a spoof at first.... is it? Seems like one.

Obviously he thought that only a short soundbite would be broadcast, and wanted to make sure it was the one he wanted - by repeating the same one over and over again.

Funnily enough George Osborne did something almost identical last year, and also got caught out when the whole "interview" was shown - and was also labelled a "robot" as a result:

Either that, or the Autons have taken over ...

I suppose he was terrified that if he put a foot wrong, it would be only the controversial bit that would be broadcast.

I suppose he was terrified that only the controversoal bit would be broadcast in the event of his putting a foot wrong.

And it would be quite wrong for his dog to do tricks while negotiations are still going on...

Just thought I'd quote the only sentence of Robert's message with a spelling mistake in it ...

Oh blast! You see how dangerous it is to depart from the script, even by a tiny amount?

              Really?

Well I don't know about you but I can see the strings!

Ah, the unsightly geek who talks through his nose and stabbed his older brother in the back. So much for the Labour Party's ultra democratic internal election process. Now we'll have the Tories for the next 15 years.
