    Hi Everyone!

Just popping in again. Been away for quite some time, but that's due to having a baby. Shortly after taking a break from casebook I found out at Christmas (2009) I was preggers. Baby boy is doing great too and I love being a mom. I love old victorian stories and the old famous writers so I named my son Dorian Gray. Anyway I am lurking around reading. I just wanted to say hello to my old friends here too.

Welcome back, Blackkat. If you are not a subscriber to Ripperologist, I might recommend the period fiction we carry in our pages, the most recent story having been "The Venus of Ille" by Prosper Mérimée, translated by Eduardo Zinna ("Hook" on these boards), in Ripperologist 120.

            Best regards

Hello everyone, been a long time away from the boards, but will be popping in from time to time to read the threads. There has been a lot of JTR on the tv and the most recent was absolutely brilliant. I'm sure I posted a few years back, that the only way to get close to the killer was to somehow get ourselves into Victorian London and presto, the writers were on the same wave length! Unfortunately the ending was a bit of a let down. Well here's to sluthing and solving a case almost 130 years old.
