Magpies are bitches, when i was younger my little brother rolled over a fallen nest by mistake and my cat was outside, they started to attack my cat they were so fierce. poor baby foxes.

You know, I might take up birdwatching after I retire. I find it interesting, for example, that English magpies look exactly the same as Canadian magpies, but English robins aren't even close to ours. (And don't take Hyde's comment personally, our Magpie.) Anyway, nice video. Thanks, Caz.

I've encountered four of these little fellas myself over the last week, two of which passed in front of my car a couple of hours ago. I only hope mum was nearby as they seemed to be fending very much for themselves.

Young foxes are very cute. Last year I was taking the dog out for a walk and I saw two very young foxes playing hide and seek with each other in and out of people's gardens.

They were just like young puppies, or even young children.

The sadness is that foxes dont live very long in towns or cities. They suffer badle from worms, and of course people dont like them.

It's a funny thing how youth, no matter what the species is very tender and heart warming.

That is one great video of foxes in their natural state - you are very lucky to have them come close enough to be filmed. As far as Magpies go it surprises me not that they are bullies. Magpies mate for life (Hence the saying "One for sorrow, Two for joy...") but belong to the Crow family of birds and so, if a Magpie finds itself alone, it will go and JOIN
Crows!!! Crows are the "bullies" of birds as they are large enough to scare any other away - they are also the ones that attack baby lambs if they are born in the field (reason why farmers try following Ewes around if due to give birth) and they are also known to attack pet rabbits! Magpies/Crows are not the kindliest of birds by a long shot!!!

There are foxes in my garden. I haven't seen any young this year, but had three last year. I did film them out of the window when they came out to play one afternoon after it had rained - that seemed to be their favourite time - I don't know why. The parent fox was very relaxed about it all, lay on the veg patch watching.

A lot of people see them as pests and think they should be destroyed. I'm quite happy to have them, though.
