    Royal Nuptials

    Good morning,

Just wanted to say cheers to William and Kate. Hope that it lasts.

Any Ripperologists here get to attend the ceremony?
I won't make any deals. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed,de-briefed, or numbered!

I tried to get in disguised as the Archbishop of Canterbury and actually perform the ceremony, but Bert Pratt beat me to it. God knows where the real Archbishop has got to.

As an unashamed monarchist, I thought the wedding was excellent. Despite the fact that during certain parts of the service I flicked channels to see what the football score was.

Many congrats to William, Kate and everybody else involved - a great day in history.

      Cheers,
      Adam.

The thing is, I have been to weddings, funerals and baptisms in my own family, and after the passage of time I find I can remember very little about them. I will probably remember zilch about my own funeral. I am just not a big event person, I guess.

Of course I wish the young couple well - as I would any couple starting out in married life - but I must admit I got totally sick of all the coverage in the lead up to the wedding - and the constant comparisons to Charles and Diana's wedding.

There were much more important things going on in the world.

That's why Poe would have loved mobiles
