Invitations

Prue and my invitations came by special messenger yesterday, but we can't go it's my dogs birthday so I'll be putting them on Ebay later today.

I know Charles and Philip will be so sorry to have missed us but the Queen does understand about dog's birthdays!

Back to the thread topic. I'm not fatigued, but I will be on Friday. I got up in the middle of the night to see Prince William's mum and dad get married, and I'll do the same for him and Kate. The Queen would expect it, and I'm glad to do it for her. After all, we've only had, so far, two monarchs worthy of the title, and they were both named Elizabeth.

I admit it. I will watch everything. I will read everything. I will pontificate on every choice, every occurrence, scrutinize every word. I will get teary eyed. And why? Because despite the fact it shows up nowhere else in my personality, I am a girl. I am a girl who wanted to be a princess. A warhorse riding dragon slaying princess, but still a princess. And I adore the royal family. I don't know why, but I wish we had one. I in fact feel a personal connection to a bunch of people who I have never met, and have no relevance in my life. And its shallow and terrible and so completely insane, and I'm doing it all anyway.

Hi,
I shall not be viewing the royal wedding, as my entire family will be putting the finishing touches to my youngest daughters wedding venue, which is in a barn. [very popular nowadays]
So that is our Royal wedding, albeit one day out, but according to the local forecast, we may be favoured with better weather then on friday.
