  • Dissociative Identity Disorder

I'm on the hunt for a specific case study if anyone cares to search as well. I'm looking for an instance where in Dissociative Identity Disorder one alter identity has an affliction that the original sufferer does not. I've been told that one can even test positive for diabetes while the other doesn't. But I want an actual case study.

There are so many different walks of life here, I figured this would be the best place to put this. I'm sure there is some one out there in casebook world that knows more about this than me.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Brilliant! A friend of mine actually mentioned seeing something like that in a documentary, but she couldn't remember the source.

      Thanks!

The book is a good read. Truddi Chase chose not to "integrate" so she has been a long standing member of that community. You can also see when she switches personalities, it's pretty bizarre to watch.

Thanks again for the help. I looked it up on amazon.com and found out it wasn't available on Kindle, and the book stores in this town left me disappointed as well. So, I guess I'll just have to twiddle my thumbs and wait for it to arrive in the mail. I can't wait! It sounds like a very good read.
