The posters on here aren't trying to get elected to anything or get million dollar sponsorship deals. Her politics however are venomous, divisive and worst of all completely hypocritical.

And she's a moron. I just find it amusing that hillbillies like Stan there who had no problem smearing and saying all sorts of crap about the liberals and Obama when he was swearing they were going to win are now crying because their little hero is getting the exact same treatment.

Right wing nuts are so sensitive. Waaaaaaaaah.

"Wah you guys are so mean and hate filled to Sarah! Meanies! " And you guys want to be in charge of a country? I think you have to be over the emotional age of two before you get the keys to the launch codes.

The Russkies would call you all suck faces and you'd cry and blow up the world.

That being said, she was never at a book burning event. Even she's not that stupid (she's close though, she did want to ban books from her local library). Stop believing everything the interwebs forward you or the stories heard from a friend of a friend.

Personally, the hatred coming from posters on here is far greater than any coming from Palin. Fair enough, its an internet forum and we're all adults.

Maybe Palin's a pyro. And Archimedes would have probably dropped the books into water, to see if they sink.

I got into a tremendous argument with someone. Sarah Palin was at a gathering at which her Preacher burned books about Harry Potter, The Beatles, Stephen J. Gould(The Panda's Thumb) and Carl Sagan. This person said that she didn't personally burn any books, which was in all probability correct. But she was there and she didn't try to stop them. And it is a distinction without a difference. She may have even cheered what was going on. Carl Sagan said that people who burn books are afraid of ideas and have no interest in finding the truth. I have always thought he was right. Archimedes would have understood.

What brought all this on, Mike? The tragedy in Arizona? Turns out what the Tuscon shooter really hates is Christianity, George W Bush, and the Federal Reserve. His obsession with the movie Zietgeist - (Read all about it)

I'm not particularly worried about her. She's the Paris Hilton of politics. I firmly believe that at the core, Americans are too smart to fall for her idiocy.
