So, er, noticing how many contributors on the Podcast and forums are from Kent or the South East, is there a Kent based society or club for enthusiasts of JtR or criminal history? (And if not should there be?)

I'm in Shirley, just on the border between Surrey and Kent, and I attend the Whitechapel Society meetings held every other month in the downstairs function room at the Aldgate Exchange pub. I get the Overground train from West Croydon to Whitechapel, which only takes 35 minutes and is very cheap with an Oyster card.

If you are interested (in the meetings I mean, not 'downstairs functions' ) the next one is on the first Saturday in February. To get a seat you need to be there before about 7.15.
