  • Tis a Mystery

I was reading on Wikipedia and ran across this entry for Dr. John Bell, Arthur Conan Doyle's inspiration for Sherlock Holmes:

Bell was involved in the 'Jack the Ripper' investigation and, though it was never disclosed, 7 days after Bell submitted the name of his suspect, the killings stopped.

Does anyone know the name of Dr. Bell's Suspect?

    Thanks,
    Brian

    Hi Bkohatl,

I can't say I know who the suspect really was, but here's a link to an old discussion of the topic on CBook in case you haven't seen it yet. Sorry if you have. Just trying to be helpful.

General discussion about anything Ripper related that does not fall into a specific sub-category. On topic-Ripper related posts only.

    Now, you have me curious!
