Yes, thereby keeping it dynamic. No fuel; no fire. No study of an historical period should go stagnant.

    I agree Monty,

John, I would suspect those who don't contribute, have no right to critic those who have. No matter their contribution.

    Achieveable goal John?

Ideas and research are the building blocks, without them there is no progression.

I disagree surely Ripperology is about trying to uncover who Jack the Ripper was. Unfortunatly alot of people seem to believe that doing reserarch into ludicris suspects and coming up with pointless theories about for example famous painters is what Ripperology is all about. That's just bullshit and a waste of everyones time.

I thought that Tab was a new product, as I'd never heard of it before!
The cutest of all is Simeco or something, which is East German (communist) Cola!!

When we were in Berlin, my mom got all excited over the Tab. Which I think had stopped being made in like, 1990. We had just assumed that Berlin was where they were shipping all of the unsold Tab left in warehouses. But if it's still there, they either have their own wee little plant there, or we had A LOT of leftover Tab in the US.

Tom, by “vampire wannabe“ for Harmony I meant to say that she's trying to be bad, but she's still totally sweet and girly inside – as when she can't inhale when smoking (like President Clinton!), when she says “We ought to send them a cheese basket if they manage to kill the slayer“, and the way she organizes her band of minions like a cheerleader at the prom committee.
Oh, I know which blond girl you mean! Chanterelle/Anne. This is truly one hot chick. And she's in 2 Angel episodes where she's operating a home for homeless teens, but unfortunately I've never seen these episodes. Anne (first episode of Buffy season 3) is one of my favorite episodes EVER. In it she's a street girl but not a “slut“ at all. Just clinging to everyone who comes along, from the idea of vampires to her demonically aged boyfriend to Buffy. And I love it that she takes Buffy's (fake) identity in the end.
Amy pre-rat?? That's a weird one. She's just in 3 episodes, and nothing much ever happens.
(People will be scratching their heads and rolling their eyes about what the hell we're talking about!)

Hi Maria. No Harmony was a Cordelia wannabe and a REAL vampire (in season 4). She is also the only character to appear in the first episode of Buffy and the last episode of Angel, making her the longest running character in the Buffyverse. The blond vampire wannabe I'm talking about was in only 2 episodes, and was a hottie, but certainly not a fave character of mine.

    Yours truly,

    Tom Wescott

Xander??? He's so petty. I'm afraid I don't like him very much. And Amy is a bit mean. I sort of liked Jenny Calender, but she ended up being terribly ineffective, almost as ineffective as Joyce (Buffy's mother), which is NOT a coincidence. (Josh Whedon knew well enough to show the adults as completely ineffective, so as to enhance the dangers/difficulties experienced by the young protagonists.)
The blond vampire wannabe's name is Harmony. She's hilarious.
And Darla is a very interesting character.
I very much like Giles, Spike, Oz, Willow, and Cordelia (in Buffy, not in Angel). I feel the closest to Faith! Not when she backstabs Buffy, but the whole “straying dog/masterless samurai“ thing is totally me, plus, her relationship with the Mayor, I've totally been there. (Although my “relationship“ with my boss is more like a Buffy-Spike in Season 2-4 kind of thing.)
So sorry, Corey, the thread you started has totally gone bonkers!

I was in Paris, where shops close on Sundays, but evidently strip joints don't. And there was one right across from the hotel called La Diabolique (I think) and it had a cigarette machine. But they were like, packs of five, so I kept having to run in there for smokes. And in Prague they had like, 100 channels and 99 of them were porn from around the world. And the one that wasn't porn evidently had some weekend long special on making sausage, which was totally worse.
